Description

The 2019 vintage of Champagne Leclerc Briant is a cuvée that perfectly reflects one of the finest harvests of recent years. It is a champagne that seduces with its balanced structure and aromatic richness. Ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with gourmet dishes.

The production of the 2019 Leclerc Briant vintage

The 2019 vintage is a cuvée composed mainly of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. This choice gives this champagne great intensity and remarkable elegance. The year 2019 was marked by ideal weather conditions, with cool nights and sunny days. This temperature contrast helped maintain excellent acidity, ensuring the balance and freshness of the grapes. The 2019 vintage is recognized as one of the finest in recent decades in Champagne.

The grapes come from the terroirs of Mailly, Trépail, Hautvillers, and Mesnil sur Oger. After harvesting, they were vinified and aged for nine months, partly in barrels (50%), in vats (45%), and 5% of the wines in glass globes and terracotta bowls. This unique ageing process gives the wine a beautiful aromatic complexity and a silky texture. The dosage is minimal, with only 1.5 g/l of residual sugar, allowing the champagne to remain faithful to the expression of the terroir.
