The Brut Réserve cuvée from Leclerc Briant is a champagne that combines richness, freshness, and style. It is a champagne that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or at the start of a meal.
The Brut Réserve is a blend of 40% Pinot Meunier, which brings fruitiness and roundness, 40% Pinot Noir, which gives structure and vinosity to the whole, and 20% Chardonnay, which adds a touch of freshness and honeyed notes. This cuvée is vinified and aged in oak barrels, which gives the wine a lovely patina. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to round out the wine and give it its characteristic aromas. The dosage is Extra Brut (4g/l) to allow the wine to express itself to the fullest.
The Leclerc Briant house was one of the first to practice organic viticulture in Champagne.
The Brut Réserve Leclerc Briant has a satiny, golden color with slightly green highlights. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
This cuvée reveals a fruity nose (quince, apple, pear...) which evolves on the second nose towards more pastry notes.
On the palate, it is a tense and mineral champagne. It is generous on the palate, with a slender, iodine-tinged finish.
A magnificent cuvée for aperitifs.
