Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs is the quintessential Lanson style. It is the purest expression of the House's savoir-faire. Only the noblest juices, extracted from the first press, make up this champagne.
2004 was marked by a mild winter, a cool spring and finally a hot, dry summer. The rainy month of August boosted the growth of the grapes, which had slowed down due to lack of water, and a sunny September put the finishing touches to a harvest of magnificent ripeness.
Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2004 combines the finest Grand Cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, including Avize, Cramant and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
This cuvée is vinified in vats, with no malolactic fermentation to ensure maximum freshness and vivacity, as well as great ageing potential. The wine is dosed Brut to bring a fine balance.
Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2004 has a golden color with slightly green highlights, and very fine bubbles.
The nose expresses beautiful notes of white flowers, which are completed after a few moments by a more gourmand touch of dried fruit and spices.
On the palate, the attack is fresh, lively and precise, unfolding complex mineral notes. A cuvée of great charm and nobility.
