Green Label is Lanson's first organic champagne. It is a cuvée that strikes a balance between freshness, fruitiness, and elegance.
Green Label is made from grapes grown on plots located on the Domaine de la Malmaison in Verneuil, in the heart of the Marne Valley. The estate has been committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture for many years.
Green Label is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay.
This cuvée is vinified in stainless steel vats to preserve all the purity and energy of the wine.
The Green Label has a deep golden color with slightly amber highlights. Its bubbles are fine and persistent.
On the nose, mineral notes dominate, accompanied by intense notes of pear, peach, and blackcurrant. A hint of citrus is also present.
On the palate, the flavors of ripe fruit (pear, mirabelle plum, and mango) linger deliciously and blend into a wine with deep vitality and minerality. The finish is long, with a spicy and fruity touch.
The Green Label is perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with fish dishes.
