Description
The Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru from Lancelot-Wanner, from the 2022 harvest, is a perfect champagne for aperitifs. It is a cuvée with fine bubbles and no acidity.
This Blanc de Blancs champagne is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Grand Cru terroir of Cramant, on the Côte des Blancs. Cramant is one of the most renowned villages in Champagne. The soil here is just a few inches below the surface. This chalk gives the grapes great freshness and minerality.
The Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Lancelot-Wanner has a golden color and very fine bubbles.
On the nose, there are lovely notes of fresh fruit and citrus, followed by a more indulgent touch reminiscent of brioche.
On the palate, this Blanc de Blancs opens with a clean attack, then becomes more supple in the mid-palate, with the same fruity notes and beautiful minerality.
It is an ideal champagne for aperitifs or to accompany oysters.
