Description
The 22nd edition of Krug Rosé is a blend of 22 different wines from 5 different vintages, from 2005 to 2010.
This is a rosé d'assemblage, i.e. a champagne rosé obtained by adding red Champagne wine. The blend is completed by 9% red wine from Pinot Noirs planted on the Mareuil-sur-Aÿ terroir. The blend is balanced between 56% Pinot Noir, 28% Pinot Meunier and 16% Chardonnay.
The Krug Rosé 22nd Edition is aged for around 7 years in the company's cellars before being released for tasting.
This edition of Krug Rosé goes wonderfully well with foie gras, lamb or white meats.
