      Description

      The Cuvée Argonne 2008 from Henri Giraud is certainly the most balanced and successful of the last 10 years.

      Vinified in oak barrels from the Argonne forest (Marne), this cuvée is totally different. The Pinot Noir d'Aÿ is magnified to create a champagne of astonishing aromatic power and unique complexity.

      Produced in a limited edition of just 1000 bottles, Cuvée Argonne 2008 is offered in a numbered bottle with a stopper to enhance the wine's ageing potential.

      This cuvée is the ideal accompaniment to a gourmet aperitif with aged Comté cheese, Parmesan shavings or pata negra.

      Each bottle comes in a box designed by Shigeru Ban, winner of the 2014 Pritzker Prize, and gilded by the famous gilder Uwe Schaeffer. This makes each tube a totally unique collector's item. Inside the tube, there's also a degrafer, a fine-gold tool specially created by Maison Henri Giraud to degrafer its grand cuvées.
