Founded in 1885 in Cramant, in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blancs, Maison de Champagne Guiborat embodies the purest expression of the Champagne terroir. Now run by Richard and Karine Fouquet, representing the fifth generation of winegrowers, the house cultivates its family heritage with a winemaking philosophy based on respect for the environment, sustainable agriculture, and minimal intervention in the cellar. The estate covers approximately 8 hectares, mainly located in the terroirs of Cramant, Chouilly, and Oiry. The white chalk soils give the wines a characteristic mineral signature.
Guiborat champagnes are distinguished by their extreme finesse and aromatic purity. The Prisme cuvée is one of the house's iconic signatures. A 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru champagne from the finest terroirs of Cramant, Chouilly, and Oiry. It offers remarkable aromatic purity, saline tension, and a fresh, indulgent texture. The Guiborat house also produces exceptional single-vineyard cuvées, such as the De Caurés in Mont-Aigu cuvée. A Grand Cru Extra Brut vintage champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from two distinct parcels in the Chouilly terroir, Le Mont Aigu and Les Caurés. Aged for a long time on slats, this champagne reveals a complexity and aromatic elegance that combines tension, lemony freshness, and chalky minerality.
