The Quatre Terroirs cuvée produced by Georges Remy is a signature champagne with a strong personality.
Georges Remy is a young winemaker who started out making red Champagne, probably the only one in the region, before moving on to sparkling wines.
This Les Quatre Terroirs cuvée reflects his estate, which spans four villages in Champagne: Bouzy, Ambonnay, Louvois, and Tauxières. All four villages are located on the Montagne de Reims.
This cuvée, available here in magnum format, is a blend of 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, vinified and aged on fine lees in new oak barrels or barrels that have been used for no more than four wines.
Malolactic fermentation is carried out, and the dosage is Extra Brut, around 3.5g/l.
This is an extremely limited cuvée, with only 600 magnums produced.
