Georges Remy'sLes Quatre Terroirs No. 21 is a signature champagne that combines power and finesse. With its subtle aromas and full-bodied structure, this cuvée stands out for its ability to accompany fine gourmet dishes.
Les Quatre Terroirs No. 21 is a meticulous blend of 95% Pinot Noir and 5% Chardonnay, grown in four villages classified as Grand Cru in the Montagne de Reims: Bouzy, Ambonnay, Louvois, and Tauxières. This terroir, characterized by chalky soils and ideal exposure, gives the wine a unique minerality and complexity.
This cuvée is made from 75% of the 2021 harvest, complemented by the 2018, 2019 and 2020 harvests. Vinification takes place in oak barrels (new or with up to four wines). It is then aged on fine lees for 10 months. The wine is neither filtered nor chilled. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, adding roundness and complexity, while the absence of dosage (0 g/L) highlights the purity of the terroir.
Les Quatre Terroirs No. 21 has a deep golden color, enlivened by fine, elegant bubbles.
On the nose, this champagne seduces with delicious notes of brioche and a subtle hint of sweet spices, revealing a beautiful aromatic complexity.
On the palate, the attack is silky and elegant. The chalky minerality typical of the Montagne de Reims intertwines with the richness brought by barrel aging, offering a long and expressive finish.
