Byzantine by Gardet is an Extra Dry champagne, with a lightly sweet touch, for drinking thoroughly chilled (frappé) to bring out its lively character and intense aromas.

Byzantine is a modern marriage of the three traditional champagne grapes: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Bright gold with flashes of green, its ripe citrus fruit aromas, with fragrant white blossom, yellow fruits and just a hint of brioche tantalize the nose.

In the mouth Byzantine by Gardet is supremely fresh with a gossamer texture, opening with explosive vivacity. It develops a rich aromatic complexity and the same fresh citrus notes as the nose, with the sweetness of the fruit accentuated by an Extra Dry dosage (15g/l), building to a lingeringly refreshing finish.
