The Rosé de Saignée from Gamet is a powerful and aromatic wine that offers a real explosion of red fruit notes on the palate.
This Rosé de Saignée is made exclusively from Pinot Meunier grapes from the right bank of the Marne, in the Damery and Fleury-la-Rivière terroirs. These terroirs have clay-limestone and sandy soils that produce grapes that are both expressive and beautifully acidic.
The aromas and unique color of this cuvée are obtained through 36 hours of maceration followed by aging in stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out in order to preserve the wine's tension.
This champagne is aged for five years in the cellars of the house before being released for tasting.
The Rosé de Saignée from Maison Gamet has an intense pink color and fine bubbles.
On the nose, you are immediately immersed in a basket of red fruits. The nose is intense and powerful.
On the palate, after a rounded attack, these intense red fruit notes return, complemented by a hint of licorice. The finish is marked by beautiful bitter notes.
