Drappier's Millésime d'Exception 2015 is the memory of a remarkable year. It's a rich, complex champagne, with pastry and fruity notes.
For this exceptional 2015 vintage, Drappier uses only the purest juices from the first press.
This cuvée is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. The wines are vinified and aged partly (60%) in wood. Cuvée Millésime 2012 benefits from an Extra Brut dosage of 5.5 g/l.
The nose offers notes of citrus, bread, hazelnuts and almonds. A touch of hazelnut signals the presence of Chardonnay. A beautiful fruity signature appears on the second nose.
On the palate, this is a champagne with a clean, elegant and fine attack.
The finish vibrates for several seconds on notes of candied citrus.
