The Vendémiaire cuvée by Doyard is a generous and full-bodied Blanc de Blancs champagne that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or at the start of a meal.
Made from Chardonnay grapes grown mainly in the Vertus terroir, the Vendémiaire cuvée is not a classic Blanc de Blancs. The Doyard house stands out for its ripe harvest and total or partial vinification of its cuvées in oak barrels. Thus, 40% of Vendémiaire is aged in oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation carried out on only 20% of the wines.
The dosage is light, around 4g/l, resulting in a champagne with beautiful integrity, tension and vinous character. A cuvée that offers a generous, fruity nose on first contact, followed by delicious notes on the palate.
The Vendémiaire Doyard cuvée is a champagne for immediate enjoyment, a generous champagne that already gives a good overview of the house style.
