      The Vintage 2002 P2 from Dom Pérignon is an exceptional cuvée. This is the second life of Vintage 2002, a second fullness that offers patinated aromas.

      The 2002 vintage is considered one of the greatest of the past 20 years. The month of September was exceptional, offering a unique aromatic concentration of the berries.

      There are 3 stages in the development of a Dom Pérignon vintage, 3 periods which reveal the traits of a cuvée without ever denying its personality.

      IFirst there is the first fullness, which is revealed after a minimum of seven years of aging on the lees. Then the second step, specific to each vintage. The second fullness, P2, is the time of energy: after a minimum of twelve years of maturation on the lees, the intensity of the wine is magnified.

      The third plenitude comes, after at least 20 years of aging, it is that of complexity and depth.

      The Vintage 2002 P2 Dom Pérignon reveals warm, golden, shimmering notes on the nose. They evoke candied fruits, frangipane, sweet spices, fresh coriander. On the second nose, iodine notes appear.

      On the palate, Vintage 2002 2e Plénitude signed Dom Pérignon is airy, energetic, centered on fruit. It is a racy, saline, and slightly liquoricey palate
