The Cuvée Brut 2009 from Maison Deutz is an elegant champagne to accompany an aperitif or a tasty dish such as truffle risotto, poultry puff pastry with lemongrass or crab flan.
Made from Pinot Noir (67%), Chardonnay (29%) and Pinot Meunier (4%), it has a strong character in the colors of 2009.
The 2009 vintage was a very good year, thanks in particular to a warm month of August. As a result, the grapes began to ripen in optimal conditions. As a result, the champagnes obtained are beautifully round and delicious.
The brilliant, light golden-yellow color reveals subtle bronze highlights.
The nose is extremely generous, with ripe fruit aromas characteristic of 2009.
The rich, voluptuous palate is adorned with delicious white-fleshed fruit fragrances such as peach and fleshy yellow cherry. Notes of toast and butter round out the aromatic palette, balanced by a pleasant minerality.
The long finish promises great ageing potential.
