Delamotte Brut Rosé is a rich and fruity cuvée. It is one of the few champagnes to be produced using the traditional saignée method, which involves extracting the color and aromatic complexity from the skins of the grapes by leaving them to macerate.
This technique, which is difficult to master, is increasingly rare in Champagne, even though it gives the wine elegance and structure.
Delamotte Brut Rosé has an intense, dense salmon color typical of rosés made using the saignée method.
On the nose, there are notes of yellow fruit and red fruit, mingled with a lovely spicy note.
This is a champagne with beautiful roundness, well-controlled aromatic power, and a superb finish.
