This Louis XV cuvée is a tribute to the King of France, who introduced champagne to the Court and authorized champagne wines to be marketed and transported in bottles, thus favoring its manufacture and, above all, a key stage, the prise de mousse.
De Venoge's Louis XV 2012 is an exceptional champagne, perfect as an aperitif or with a fine starter. This prestige cuvée is produced only in the very best years.
This vintage cuvée is made exclusively from Grand Cru grapes. It is composed of 50% Pinot Noir from the terroirs of Verzenay and Bouzy and 50% Chardonnay from the terroirs of Oger, Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Cuvée Louis XV 2012 has a deep golden yellow color and extremely fine bubbles.
The nose offers a wide range of aromas, with fragrances of white flowers, citrus and red fruits such as morello cherry and raspberry. It then opens up to a delicate, elegant hint of minerality.
On the palate, we find the same notes, full of flavor and character. A magnificently harmonious champagne.
