The Blanc de Noirs Iconic cuvée, the signature wine of Maison Canard-Duchêne, embodies all the richness and power of Pinot Noir from Champagne. Made exclusively from this grape variety, it is a champagne with character, designed for fine dining and lovers of intense sensations.
A powerful and refined high-altitude Pinot Noir
Blanc de Noirs Iconic is a blend of 100% Pinot Noir selected from terroirs renowned for their freshness and aromatic complexity: Ludes, Aÿ, Mailly, and Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims, complemented by Fontette and Les Riceys in the Aube.
The cuvée is distinguished by its high proportion of reserve wines (50%), including 10 to 20% from a perpetual reserve started in 2012. This unique solera system highlights the Maison's finest Pinot Noirs and brings remarkable depth to the blend. The aging process is then extended for at least three years in the cellars of the Domaine de Ludes, under optimal conditions (darkness, 11°C, 90% humidity).
The dosage is kept to less than 7 g/L, preserving the wine's freshness and precision while revealing its fullness.
