      Description

The 1999 Blanc de Blancs from Maison Bruno Paillard is an exceptional vintage that has achieved a perfect balance between minerality, floral aromas, and candied citrus peel. To illustrate this wine, French painter Guillemette Schlumberger worked on the theme of "Vivacity."

The balance, aromatic density and purity of the grapes harvested in 1999 make this a very classic, rather rich vintage in the great Champagne tradition.

This cuvée is made exclusively from the first pressing, the purest, of Chardonnay Grands Crus. These grapes are harvested in the heart of the Côte des Blancs in Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a terroir of excellence for Chardonnays.

This champagne has a deep golden-green color and lively effervescence, with extremely fine bubbles.

The nose reveals notes of citrus, mandarin, and almond at first, then evolves towards toasted bread, finishing with hints of licorice and candied orange peel.

The palate expresses a still very noticeable liveliness and freshness, balanced by a beautiful structure and a long finish.
