La Grande Année 2004 is the unique interpretation of a year through the prism and talent of the House of Bollinger. It's a majestic champagne that combines complexity, power and freshness.
Produced exclusively from grapes grown on 1er and grand cru terroirs, Grande Année 2004 is a blend of 66% pinot noir and 34% chardonnay.
The champagne is vinified in small oak barrels. The oak barrels have already been used for several harvests, so as not to mark the champagne with woody or tannic aromas. Wood allows the wine to express its aromatic complexity to the full.
After bottling, the wine is corked to protect it from oxidation and preserve its freshness.
La Grande Année 2004 is the perfect embodiment of the Bollinger style.
