Les Montants 2019 is a Blanc de Blancs champagne from Adrien Renoir. This cuvée combines the chalky freshness of the Reims mountains with the aromatic richness of oak aging.

The 2019 vintage is one of the finest in Champagne, with an almost idyllic season and superb grapes harvested at moderate yields, offering beautiful aromatic concentration.

Les Montants 2019 is made from Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru terroir of Verzy on the Montagne de Reims. The Chardonnays of Verzy offer a very interesting balance between the minerality provided by the chalky soil and aromatic richness.

This champagne is vinified in oak barrels and aged on lees. After bottling, the wine rests for three years in the cellars of the house. The bottles are then disgorged and very lightly dosed (0.8g/L).

Les Montantes 2019 Adrien Renoir has a bright golden color with silver highlights. Its bubbles are fine and lively.

On the nose, this cuvée offers an initial nose reminiscent of candied citrus fruits and fresh chalk, followed by richer, more indulgent notes of pastries.

On the palate, this champagne has an elegant attack with a hint of liveliness, giving way to a round, fruity mid-palate with a broad aromatic palette.

This champagne is the perfect accompaniment to seafood or an aperitif with petits fours.
