The Les 2 Terroirs cuvée produced by Adrien Renoir is a rosé champagne with beautiful fruity and spicy notes.
This blended rosé is made from 95% Pinot Noir from Verzy and 5% red wines from Verzenay. The Verzy terroir is renowned for its chalky soil, which brings great freshness and minerality to the grapes.
The blend is based on a majority of wines from the 2019 harvest, a very fine vintage. This wine from the 2019 harvest is complemented by reserve wines that perpetuate the estate's identity.
Vinification and aging on lees take place in barrels. After disgorging, the wine is dosed Extra-Brut at 2.4 g/L to preserve the identity of the terroirs that compose it.
The nose offers aromas of sweet red fruits, mandarin, bergamot, spices, and peony.
The palate of this Les 2 Terroirs cuvée is full-bodied, mellow and precise with a lively acidity, fine bubbles and a penetrating finish that is very chalky and intensely sapid. This tense and dry champagne is a beautiful interpretation of Verzy's blended rosés.
