Description

This 2020 vintage is the first red coteaux made by Adrien Renoir (a white coteaux was also made the same year). It's a fresh, elegant red wine with a lovely mouthfeel.

For this still red wine, Adrien chose to blend Pinot Noirs from his Grand Cru terroir of Verzy, and more specifically from 3 parcels, Les Chemins de Wez, Les Champs Brûlés and la Vinzelle.

The wines are aged for 26 months in oak barrels to give them an attractive patina. The result is stunning: this Coteaux Rouge 2020 offers a very elegant, silky mouthfeel thanks to the advanced vinification. The mid-palate reveals lovely notes of crunchy red fruit and great energy. It's a light, elegant red wine that can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and at the table!
