The Rosé Brut by Besserat de Bellefon is the expression of the delicacy of a blend of Pinot Meunier (40%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Chardonnay (30%). Very fresh and light, it will enhance your summer aperitifs. It will be a hit with a terrine of sun-dried tomatoes, shrimp skewers, or a red fruit dessert.
Unique in its kind, the Besserat de Bellefon House uses a very distinctive winemaking process. By choosing to reduce the quantity of tirage liqueur (the liqueur that allows the second fermentation to take place), it has succeeded in reducing the size of the bubbles by 30%. The lighter mousse gives its champagnes a very pleasant creamy and smooth character. This smoothness is complemented by the house's characteristic freshness. The absence of malolactic fermentation allows the wine to retain a certain acidity and brightness on the palate.
Through its salmon-colored robe, a fine, creamy effervescence sparkles in the form of a bead.
The nose is very generous, revealing aromas of red fruits such as redcurrant and wild strawberry. Floral notes of hawthorn and lime blossom blend together to form a refined and very pleasant whole, all enhanced by almond aromas.
Thanks to these red fruits, the attack on the palate is deliciously tangy. Then the aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry give way to a delicious and subtly spicy finish.
