Sydonios is a young French brand with the ambition of offering the best tasting glasses in the world.
The two founders, Baptiste Larbre and Antoine Schvartz, met with over 100 wine professionals and read dozens of scientific studies on the expression of wine aromas to define their first collection, called Racine, which consists of three glasses: L’Universel, l’Esthète, and Le Subtil.
Wanting to go even further, they teamed up with renowned Parisian sommelier Pierre Vila Palleja to create a new collection directly inspired by the Racine range. Several months of testing and around thirty prototypes were needed to faithfully express the nuances of the terroirs and climates. These tastings revealed the importance of defining this collection, named Terroir, with three specific glass profiles: Empreinte, Le Méridional, and Le Septentrional.
This box set contains six Le Méridional glasses, a model designed for red wines from warm terroirs. This glass will accompany the power and tannins of these southern red wines.
In addition to its immense oenological qualities, Le Méridional is an incredibly delicate and light glass.
The Le Méridional glass measures
- 248 mm high
- 110 mm wide
It is made of lead-free crystal, is mouth-blown, and has a capacity of 83 cl.
This model, like all those in the Sydonios range, is dishwasher safe.
