With decades of experience in creating functional, grape variety-specific glassware, the Performance range is the result of Georg and Maximilian Riedel's desire to continuously improve on what came before.
This technologically advanced collection is the first RIEDEL series to feature bowls with a light optical impact. Extensive research conducted by the Riedel family, aimed at improving the organoleptic experience of wine, revealed that increasing the inner surface area of the glass had a positive impact on the perception of the wine's bouquet and flavor.
This has been achieved through a unique optical effect, which not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also enlarges the surface area, allowing the wine to open up and fully reveal every aroma and subtle nuance.
Composed of lightweight, durable, and dishwasher-safe components, RIEDEL Performance glasses are machine-made from sparkling crystal glass.
Wine lovers around the world know that RIEDEL wine glasses are designed in different shapes and sizes for specific grape varieties. This set of 2 Performance glasses is specially designed for tasting Chardonnay with the following characteristics:
- Height: 245 mm
- Capacity: 72.7 cl
