Description
Confiance, produced by Franck Pascal, is a red Champagne hillside wine, meaning it is a still wine. Made and blended from Pinot Meunier grapes harvested in 2018 (49%) and 2022 (51%), it is a fresh, crisp, and delicate red wine.
This red wine is made from old vines (nearly 60 years old) of Pinot Meunier, a traditional Champagne grape variety. After maceration, vinification takes place in small oak barrels, on whole lees.
Champagne red wines are distinguished by their freshness and fruity notes. Confiance perfectly reflects this, with notes of fresh red berries and a minerality characteristic of the Champagne terroir.
This red wine pairs perfectly with grilled veal or Corsican charcuterie.
