The Cave Privée collection from Veuve Clicquot opens the doors to the history of one of the most famous champagne houses. This collection features the house's greatest vintages. The 1990 Brut Millésimé is a unique interpretation of a great year, perhaps the greatest of the last 40 years.
This champagne is a blend of 56% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, 11% Pinot Meunier and 33% Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs.
The dosage is extremely low (4g/L) to allow this rare champagne to express its full maturity and mad complexity.
Veuve Clicquot's Cave Privée 1990 is a luminous, sparkling old gold color.
On the nose, it's a charming, gourmand champagne, with notes of ripe fruit, quince and bergamot.
On the palate, this champagne is structured, round, with a hint of vinosity, on notes of candied fruit, pastry and a touch of spice.
