This superb cuvée from Thiénot presents notes of dried fruit and white flowers, and is remarkably fresh.
A true tribute from Alain Thiénot to his children, La Vigne aux Gamins is a cuvée from a vineyard over 60 years old, produced for the 2005 vintage in just 3614 bottles. Blanc de Blancs d'Avize, this champagne is a Grand Cru of pure, complex character.
Its Chardonnay is deliciously sweet and impressively long, thanks to favorable September weather. This is undeniably a great cuvée, lively, subtle, with hints of citrus and honey, and a long, mineral, racy finish. A perfect match for dishes of its stature, such as lobster.
