In Landreville, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, Thibault and Alizée Tassin run a family-owned estate that remains relatively unknown, built around an artisanal approach and a meticulous pursuit of terroir expression. Since 2015, the couple has been tending the family’s vineyards and gradually developing their own estate, with plots located primarily in Celles-sur-Ource, Essoyes, and Landreville. The estate adheres to an approach that respects living organisms and has begun the transition to organic farming. Both in the cellar and in the vineyard, Thibault and Alizée prioritize minimal intervention, allowing the grapes and terroirs to express themselves fully. This philosophy gives rise to champagnes with character, produced in small quantities and sought after by connoisseurs of exclusive cuvées.
The Thibault Tassin range is distinguished by single-vineyard cuvées and winemaking techniques that highlight the personality of the Côte des Bar. The Cuvée Soirée d’Hiver en Pays Aubois, made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Celles-sur-Ource and Essoyes, reveals the full uniqueness of the Kimmeridgian soils of the Aube region. Spontaneously fermented and aged in oak, this cuvée is offered as a Brut Nature, without dosage, to preserve its purity and vibrancy. Alongside this cuvée, the estate also produces Dalivard, Les Fioles, and Les Belles Pièces—small-batch champagnes that continue this exploration of specific plots, aging techniques, and the expression of Pinot Noir.
