Cuvée 1522 Grand Cru from Maison Philipponnat is a champagne of character, with notes of citrus and spice.
This champagne was created as a tribute to the year the Philipponnat family settled in the Champagne village of Aÿ.
This exceptional cuvée is the fruit of the marriage of the house's finest grapes.
Complex and well-balanced, Cuvée 1522 Grand Cru Philipponnat combines vivacity and finesse. It's a cuvée with a very different style from Clos des Goisses, a cuvée focused on power.
It is a champagne with an intense golden color and a fine mousse.
On the nose, Cuvée 1522 Grand Cru offers notes of orange blossom and white pepper, supported by a fine mineral presence.
On the palate, the wine is frank, straightforward and clean, with acidulous, slightly spicy notes and a gourmet touch. Impressive length and volume.
Cuvée 1522 Grand Cru Philipponnat goes perfectly with seafood, grilled fish or fatty poultry.
