Description
This Face Nord cuvée from Maison Pehu-Simonet is a faithful expression of the personality of the Grand Crus from the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims.
This champagne is composed of 75% Pinot Noir from Verzenay Grand Cru, Verzy Grand Cru and Sillery, and 25% Chardonnay from Verzenay Grand Cru. It is a blend of 80% base wine and 20% reserve wines from a solera system started in 2005.
The vinification is natural, without fining or filtration, in order to preserve all the fruitiness of the terroirs, dressed with elegance and freshness.
The wine has a deep golden color with pale tones, setting the tone for the character of the Pehu-Simonet house.
The nose reveals sensations of ripe fruit.
The palate is fruity, with body and excellent integrity. It is an aromatic explosion.
