Champagne Mumm commissioned the French designer Patrick Jouin to create a unique champagne bucket. Baptised “Georges” in homage to Georges Hermann Mumm, the emblematic patron who gave his name to this champagne house, the ice bucket combines sleek design with practicality.
“Georges” by Patrick Jouin is a timeless piece of design, accompanied by a bottle of Mumm Cordon Rouge.
A blend of over 77 crus sourced from all the great terroirs of Champagne, Mumm Cordon Rouge privileges Pinot Noir (45%) for its structure and force, whilst the Chardonnay (30%) adds finesse and elegance, and the Pinot Meunier contributes fruit and suppleness.
The scintillatingly golden robe is animated by fine bubbles. The first nose is freshly fruity with white and yellow peaches and apricots, but also exotic fruits, opening up to delicious vanilla, caramel, brioche and honey notes.
The fresh and lively attack leads to a round, full and lightly vinous palate offering the same rich, fruity aromas stretching out on the long, smooth finish.
