Lombard's Brut Nature Rosé de Saignée Verzenay Grand Cru Les Marquises is a champagne that combines beautiful notes of red fruit and freshness.
The Les Marquises parcel is located in Verzenay, on the hillside below the Moulin. It faces due east.
The village of Verzenay is renowned for its chalky soils and northern exposure, which produce delicate Pinots Noirs full of freshness.
Lombard's Brut Nature Rosé de Saignée Verzenay Grand Cru Les Marquises is made from Pinot Noirs macerated for around 8 hours in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 4 to 6 months. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to preserve all the tension and energy of the Verzenay terroir.
The Brut Nature Rosé de Saignée Verzenay Grand Cru Les Marquises is then aged for 4 to 5 years in our own cellars in Epernay. No dosage is added, as the wine's balance is already perfect.
The Les Marquises parcel offers beautifully mature Pinot Noirs, with fine notes of red berries.
