Since no two years are alike, the Jacquesson champagne house produces a new Cuvée 7XX every year.
Each new iteration of Cuvée 7XX retains the house style, but adapts it to the year's harvest.
For example, the 2009 harvest gave birth to Cuvée 737, characterized by its power and finesse. It is made from 43% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier and 27% Pinot Noir. Reserve wines account for 30% of the blend, and are mostly from the very fine 2008 harvest.
Cuvée 737 Jacquesson has a nose of honey, almond and spices. The palate is lively, taut and mineral.
This is a cuvée of magnificent purity.
250,132 bottles, 9,555 magnums and 336 jeroboams of Cuvée 737 were produced.
