Cuvée Soliste Chardonnay 2013 by Jean-Marc Sélèque is a rich, chiselled Blanc de Blancs champagne. It's an ideal cuvée for a fine aperitif dinner.
Soliste Chardonnay is made from Chardonnay from the Moque Bouteilles parcel planted in 1989 on the Premier Cru terroir of Dizy. Situated mid-slope, it is a parcel of clayey loam on Campanian chalk.
This champagne is vinified in 300-liter barrels, and aged for 8 months. Aged under cork for 4 years, this cuvée is not dosed.
Cuvée Soliste Chardonnay 2013 Sélèque is an aromatic, full-bodied champagne, with a lovely roundness on the palate, and a finish that vibrates for long seconds.
This is a rare cuvée, with only 377 bottles ever made.
