The Cuvee Rosé de Saignée by Jean-Marc Sélèque is an intensely fruity champagne crafted from Pinot Noir grapes cold macerated for 48 hours to which 15% Chardonnay is added.
The grapes are harvested uniquely from old vines of 40 years of age on the Premier Cru terroir of Pierry.
This Rosé de Saignée then passes a further 36 to 48 months in the Sélèque cellars in order to develop all its complexity and aromas.
It is dosed as an Extra Brut (5g/L) to allow full the expression of its natural aromas.
Jean-Marc Sélèque made only 2500 bottles of his Rosé de Saignée.
