La Vallée Suspendue by Champagne Gamet is an ode to the finesse of Meunier. This cuvée offers great aromatic complexity and beautiful liveliness.
The production of La Vallée Suspendue Gamet champagne
La Vallée Suspendue champagne is made mainly from Meunier (80%), complemented by 15% Pinot Noir and 5% Chardonnay. The grapes come from the terroirs of Mardeuil, Fleury-la-Rivière, and Damery, whose limestone soils give this champagne its intense minerality. The base year of the cuvée is enriched by a variable proportion of reserve wine from the house's perpetual reserve, which has been cultivated since 1999. This blend gives La Vallée Suspendue remarkable depth and aromatic richness.
This champagne is entirely vinified and aged in barrels, a method that promotes strong expression of aromas. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, adding roundness and additional complexity. The cuvée is then aged on slats for a minimum of 5 years, allowing the wine to develop its aromas and refine its texture. With a very low dosage of 4 g/L, this Extra Brut remains faithful to its terroir, offering a pure expression of the grape varieties and the expertise of the Gamet house.
