An outstanding cuvee ! Petraea XCVII-MMVI from the house of Francis Boulard is a perpetual reserve, like the Soléra method. Each year 25% new wine of the current year is added to the blend which has been constituted over the years.
In this way the Petraea XCVII-MMVI contains 25% of the 2006 harvest, and 75% which is made up of all the previous years from 1997 à 2005.
Petraea XCVII-MMVI is an epicurean and powerful champagne, a marriage of 60% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier and matured in old oak barrels.
It is undosed, that is with no addition of sugar, to allow the champagne its full and free expression with no artifice.
