The Libertine cuvée by Doyard is a completely atypical champagne. The aim of this cuvée was to rediscover the taste characteristics of the first Champagne wines, those of the early 18th century.
The La Libertine Doyard cuvée is a totally unique champagne unlike any other. La Libertine is a blend of five different vintages, aged for over 12 years in the cellars of the house in Vertus.
Its effervescence is lower than that of today's champagnes. Finally, the dosage is significant, as it was at the time, at 65g/L. A liqueur made from old Champagne wines (over 20 years old) stored in jeroboams.
This is a unique cuvée to be reserved for rare tasting occasions.
