The production of Christian Gosset's Brut A05 champagne
The Brut A05 cuvée is based on the 2020 harvest, complemented by 45% reserve wines, guaranteeing richness and complexity. This blend combines 85% Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru terroir of Aÿ, in the Marne Valley, and 15% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroirs of Chouilly and Aÿ. These grape varieties combine to offer a perfect balance between power and finesse.
Vinification is carried out partly in enameled vats and 20% in oak barrels, adding a touch of subtlety and complexity, as well as a silky texture. True to his approach, Christian Gosset produces his champagnes without filtration or cold stabilization, allowing the aromas of the terroir to express themselves fully. The cuvée is lightly dosed at 3 g/L, accentuating its purity and minerality.
