The Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru cuvée from Brice is a crisp, elegant, delicious champagne with beautiful balance. It is a cuvée that pairs equally well with an aperitif or gourmet dishes.
This champagne is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy, and from three specific plots: Les Chantereines, Les Grosses Pierres, and Les Cercets.
This Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru champagne, created by Brice's cellar master Christophe Constant, is vinified and aged mainly in stainless steel vats to preserve its freshness. A small portion of the wine is vinified and aged in 228-liter oak barrels to add a touch of richness and complexity. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out in order to preserve the wine's tension.
The dosage is Extra Brut (4g/l), which simply highlights the aromatic and delicious character of this Blanc de Noirs.
This cuvée has a golden color with intense highlights and very fine bubbles.
On the nose, the Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Brice reveals notes of ripe yellow fruit, as well as hints of bakery and sweet spices.
On the palate, this cuvée starts with a clean and elegant attack, and the mouthfeel is very delicate and silky. Notes of fresh fruit and citrus appear in the mid-palate.
The finish is beautiful and vibrant, with a hint of saltiness that fades after a few moments.
This is a champagne that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a nice white meat or oily fish.
