      Description

Champagne Bollinger's PN VZ 19 cuvée is a true ode to Pinot Noir. Made exclusively from this noble grape variety, this cuvée highlights the cornerstone of the Bollinger style. It is a champagne with character, both subtle and complex, carried by the exceptional 2019 vintage.

The production of Bollinger's PN VZ 19 cuvée

The PN VZ 19 cuvée is made from 100% Pinot Noir, a choice that perfectly reflects Bollinger's DNA. The main cru for this edition is Verzenay, a Grand Cru village in the Montagne de Reims, renowned for its Pinot Noir grapes of great finesse. This blend also includes grapes from other iconic villages such asAÿ, Avenay, Louvois, Mutigny, and Tauxières. The base year for this cuvée is 2019, but it also includes reserve wines, the oldest dating back to 2009, to add extra depth.

The vinification of this cuvée follows a rigorous process: Bollinger uses only the cuvée, i.e. the first pressings of the grapes, which are of the highest quality. The long aging in the cellar guarantees exceptional complexity and finesse. The moderate dosage of 6 grams per liter preserves the purity of the aromas and the expression of the Pinot Noir.
