La Grande Année Rosé 2015 champagne is a blend of 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay. The grapes come from 11 crus, mainly Verzenay, Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ for the Pinot Noir, and Chouilly and Avize for the Chardonnay. To complete this blend, 5% red wine from the famous La Côte aux Enfants vineyard is added, bringing structure and a delicate color to this rosé. True to Bollinger tradition, fermentation takes place in oak barrels. This method gives La Grande Année Rosé its texture and complexity.
The 2015 vintage was marked by dry, sunny weather, allowing the grapes to reach optimal maturity. This cuvée is aged under cork for around eight years, allowing the champagne to develop its full richness. The dosage is moderate, at 7 grams per liter, adding a touch of indulgence and allowing the aromas to reveal themselves, while maintaining the elegance of the wine.
The color of La Grande Année Rosé 2015 is a deep pink with pretty pink highlights, adding a touch of refinement to this cuvée.
