      The production of Louis Salmon Blanc de Blancs 2012 Billecart-Salmon

      The Louis Salmon Blanc de Blancs 2012 cuvée is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs. The blend combines the Grand Cru terroirs of Mesnil-sur-Oger (60%) for its structure and tension, Cramant (23%) for its minerality, and Chouilly (11%) and Oiry (6%) for their finesse.

      This exceptional vintage has benefited from meticulous ageing: 25% of the wines were vinified in barrels, followed by prolonged maturation on lees for 115 months, guaranteeing remarkable aromatic complexity. The dosage is Extra Brut at 3.9 g/L, highlighting the purity and balance of this cuvée. Thanks to the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs, this cuvée has an aging potential of over 20 years.
