      Description

Vintage 2006 by Billecart-Salmon is a champagne that combines a wealth of aromatic complexity with superb freshness.

A blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, this is a cuvee of great intensity and authenticity of sensations thanks to its Extra Brut dosage.

Billecart-Salmon Vintage 2006 is glimmeringly golden, highlighted by a profuse and dynamic effervescence.

The nose reveals enticing aromas of deliciously ripe fruit completed by gourmand biscuity notes, with richer buttery notes of pastries and warm sponge cakes developing after airing.

This same rich panoply of aromas is mirrored on the palate, supplemented by superb freshness contributed by the Chardonnay. Skilful winemaking has created a creaminess and precision in the mouth, with a clean, persistent finish.

This characterful vintage champagne will be a pleasure served with a fine piece of fish, shellfish or high quality ham.
