The Feu cuvée created by Marc Augustin is a radiant and unpredictable champagne. Fire is a transformative element due to its heat and versatility depending on its intensity.
The world of Maison Augustin's cuvées was inspired by biodynamics and brought to life by Emmanuelle, Marc's wife. The identity, names, colors, and materials are all consistent with the philosophy of the House.
This Blanc de Noirs cuvée is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on 70-year-old vines in Avenay Val d'Or, a premier cru terroir in the Montagne de Reims.
Both the viticulture and vinification are carried out according to biodynamic principles, in harmony with the lunar phases, and the wines undergo controlled dynamization. Like the estate's other cuvées, the wine is unfiltered and the yeast is sourced from the previous year's lees, with no filtration.
This Feu cuvée is an uncompromising, evolving and impressive champagne. On the palate, this wine reveals evanescent bubbles and very distinctive smoky accents.
This very distinctive cuvée Feu is the perfect accompaniment to red meat cooked on the barbecue.
