Les Vignes de Nuit is a cuvée from the Maison A. Bergère collection of parcel wines. Bergère's collection of parcel wines, featuring one of their flagship terroirs, Etoges. Through his champagnes, Adrien Bergère aims to highlight the richness of the Domaine's terroirs. To achieve this, he selects the best vines to produce wines with character and identity, with the primary aim of enabling the wine to reveal expression and freshness.
This Blanc de Blancs is made from Chardonnay harvested in 2014, from an old vine planted in 1972 on limestone soil in the commune of Etoges in the Petit Morin Valley. Maison A. Bergère is constantly striving to express its terroir through viticulture that respects nature.
The year 2014 was marked by a magnificent, dry spring, a cool, rainy autumn and a hot, sunny and very dry September, worthy of an August.
Vinification and ageing on lees are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and 228-liter barrels. The wine is dosed Extra-Brut at 5 g/L and is not filtered to preserve all its qualities.
This Les Vignes de Nuit parcel cuvée expresses notes of white fruit and mirabelle plum, then opens onto a floral universe.
The palate is elegant, with aromas of white vine peaches and nectarines on a stimulating finish with delicate citrus notes.
