The Solera Blanc de Blancs cuvée from Maison A. Bergère is a blend of the 2019 harvest with a perpetual reserve started in 2013. This solera retains great freshness as it combines 50% wine from the current year and 50% from previous harvests.
This cuvée is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Petit Morin Valley, in the villages of Fèrebrianges, Etoges, and Congy, as well as in the Sezannais region. Maison A. Bergère is constantly striving to express the terroir through viticulture that respects nature.
These plots with limestone soils benefit from different exposures and adapted cultivation methods to achieve the deepest expression of the terroir.
Vinification and ageing on lees are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and in 228-liter barrels. The dosage is Brut at 6 g/L.
This Solera cuvée reveals a generous and indulgent nose with beautiful floral aromas. The palate is creamy and offers a beautiful structure with notes of nectarines and white vine peaches.
